Route of the World March for Peace & Nonviolence

START: The World March for Peace & Nonviolence will start in New Zealand on October 2, 2009 (Gandhi’s birthday and the UN International Day of Nonviolence) and circle our globe passing through more than 90 countries in 90 days.

FINISH: The March will end on January 2, 2010 in the Andes near Mount Aconcagua in Argentina.

SAN DIEGO: The march will come down the coast from Northern California, passing through San Diego in early December, 2009 (details to be announced, check back soon). Marchers will cross the border into Tijuana, Mexico, where there will be common activities with people from Mexico.

THE ROUTE IS EVERYWHERE: In reality the World March happens wherever there are people who want to speak up for peace and nonviolence. As more people hear about the March, new initiatives are appearing all over the world. Tell your family and friends -- wherever they are they can be part of the World March.
